caught... brown mouthed

What was my first clue? The brown around his entire mouth?

Or was it the aroma of yummy chocolate floating through the air in his room?

Maybe it was the guilty look across his face?

Nevertheless he is so BUSTED! For what we may ask? It's simply not a mystery after seeing his face. He enjoyed a HUGE chocolate bunny in his bedroom while he was in time out for peeing on the neighbor kid... Oh goodness.... little boys. Where would all of us moms be with out them? I'll just say one thing. Connor is so lucky I am a scrapbooker!! This page will be getting done right away!

love love LOVE it!

After a choking incident last night with my darling 5 year old I needed some total scrapbook therapy while watching Canadian Idol (yes, all you americans- we too have our own Idol up here & I like it a lot lot lot better then American Idol). I LOVE the 29th street Market by My Minds Eye and along with my fabulous pics from my awesome camera I created this cool layout for Connor's album. My only issue? How do I get a pic of it so that you don't see my floor surrounding it? Also- a HUGE thank you to my friend Diana for the pick me up e-mail after yesterday's post.. I needed it! ;)

Terrible 5's?!?!

Nobody ever warned me going into motherhood that there was such thing as a terrible five's. I always knew there was the terrible twos and the terrible threes, but what about the fives? Today he is more grumpy then EVER! Someone rescue me from a case of the grumpies. Okay... just thinking- maybe it's not the terrible fives... MAYBE just maybe it's a middle child syndrome? I know for a fact I suffer from this problem, and jameson is stuck right in the middle. I'm so tired of the "NO NO NO" word and the "I hate mommy" and the pounding on the doors throwing all of the toys in this house. Anyone else at their wits end with a five year old???

**disclaimer- I never said that my blog would always be the happy go lucky stories! We're living here and with living comes the down side too! My children are buggers! Some days life seems bigger then me:)**

TODAY.....

I will let him have all the fun with water that he can possibly stand!

I will love and respect her carefree spirit.

I will love every moment of her... I know how fast it goes.

I will laugh with him as he is my 'clown'.... and love his silliness!

I will appreciate the great little man he is becomming! I will love him no matter what.
I will remember that they are her loving brothers and they are happy she is a part of their lives.

I will never cease to be amazed at what an amazing father he is.

I will strive to do the best in all I do each and everyday!!!

It is me... my father

I am the unperfectly perfectly unperfect mom/girl that sometimes is so overloaded with random thoughts that it just gets to me... but then something snaps me into reality and I realize that I am just me and thats the way that I am. I am irrational and I am up and I am down, but the fact is that I wear my heart on my sleve and I am really a good person. I love people and I only want them to love me back. I am unperfect and I am all over the board, but I enjoy who I am. I actually like the person who I have become today. And then I think... I am my dad... I have become my FATHER!

Proud is what I am to be just like him. My dad too wears his heart on his sleeve and loves his family and his friends with his whole being. I love my dad for teaching me to be the girl that I am. When I look in the mirror I see my dad and I smile. I actually have grown to crave a long conversation with my dad, to smile with him, to laugh at him, to need his acceptance in my life. My dad is my hero and all that I am (or am not) today I chalk up to him (and my fabulous mom). Thanks dad for making me the simply puzzling person that I am today! I love you:)
